Online Sportsbook Selection Tips
I’m often asked how I would select an offshore sportsbook to do some sports betting at if I didn’t know any solid ones or if I were to be looking to add another solid online sportsbook to my list. For the uninformed, selecting an online sportsbook can be a daunting task. Today, I will give you some quick tips to help your selection process go well.
Sportsbook Selection Tip One
Before you do any sports betting at any online sportsbook, do a search for the site in Google, MSN and Yahoo. Type their site in the search box and see what pops up. This is a great way to find information. Here are some searches to try.
Sportsbook + payout
Sportsbook + legal
Sportsbook + scam
Sportsbook + bonus
Sportsbook + pay
Sportsbook + service
Those are just some ideas. Substitute sportsbook for the actual name of the sportsbook.
Sportsbook Selection Tip Two
Don’t do business with any online sportsbook that doesn’t take 3rd party deposits from companies like NETeller. Rather than spreading your financial information all over the world, get a NETeller or other type of 3rd party account and use that for your money transfers.
Sportsbook Selection Tip Three
Be cautious about betting at any online sportsbook that’s only been open a year or less. Look for ones that have been in operation for a bit. Sure, every sportsbook has to start somewhere and I’m not saying to ignore them, but if you are a big player, look for a proven track record.
Sportsbook Selection Tip Four
Regardless of what type of sports bettor you are, look for online sportsbooks that allow small deposits and that have small betting limits. The idea here is that many potential scams will try for larger amounts of money. It’s not foolproof, but it’s another thing to add to your checklist.
Whatever sportsbook you end up selecting, don’t jump in 100%. Give them some initial business and see how their customer service, payout time, and other aspects are first. Let them earn your business.

To deposit/withdraw, I highly recommend using EFT fund transfers from/to your bank via Neteller.

Hopefully Neteller will be an option again if they can beat the USA govt.

I wouldn´t recommend Neteller for American players right now. Cheque or Ecocard if available are some of the remaining options.

Neteller has been off limits to american customers for months and they are not coming back. Hopefully for the gambling industry sake, they don’t stiff all the US players funds that are till tied up.

Yeah, I need to update this. NETeller is not an option.
