NBA Selection

Written by

I ran another game through the NBA formula we talked about the other day. In doing so, I found what looks to be a good play. The play it selected starts in a few hours and is a totals play. If you are keeping track, the formula is 3-2 (60%) currently. So, let’s take a look at the NBA totals play.

The game at hand is between the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks (home team). According to my NBA formula, the totals line for this game should be about 202. However, the line moved up a few points today and is now sitting at 210. I have placed a wager on the UNDER 210.

I think it will be pushing it to think that this game goes over 110. Miami’s defense is just good enough to hold the Knicks in the low 90’s. If they give up 94 points, their offense must score 117 points for the game to go over the total. While it’s possible, it’s not likely. I look for the final score to be more like 101-94.

Well, thanks to a 64 point 4th quarter, I lost the bet by ONE point. Final total was 211. It was looking great until the end. The formula is now 3-3 (50%). We will see how it does tomorrow.
