Yesterday, I talked to you about a generic NBA betting system formula I tried. I explained about how formulas are a dime a dozen and no one should pick by a formula alone. Well, to continue that thought, the formula has come up with two selections and after a little analysis, I decide to bet them. Here’s the full details.

The game I am talking about is today between the Portland Trailblazers and the Cleveland Cavilers. The formula has predicted the final score: Cleveland 95 Portland 91 Total 186

I took Portland + 12 points and bet the OVER of 179. The magic number is 83. If Portland scores 84 points, I break even for sure. For Cleveland to beat me, they would need to score 97, which would make the total 180.

The line probably going to move. I would not be surprised to see the totals line go up a couple points and the spread go down by maybe 1 point. It really depends on what sports bettors are looking at. Portland has had a couple really low scoring games of late, but Cleveland’s defense is about middle of the road. Two months ago, in Portland, Cleveland lost by 2 points. The final was 89-87. I am looking for a somewhat close game with just above average scoring.
