This article is actually a secret personal story about an unbelievable turn of events I had as a dealer in Las Vegas. More specifically, it’s about how I completely destroyed all the players that came to my table for almost two hours and how I did it—perhaps.

Last night’s Powerball drawing failed to find a jackpot winner. However, two lucky players are going to pocket $800.000 each. According to sources, one lucky player in Oklahoma and one lucky player in Kentucky each won $800,000 with the Power Play option. Two other lucky players—in Missouri and Nebraska—scored $200,000 each.

There’s a common misconception, in my option, with doubling down in Blackjack. Many people feel that you should double down on 11 every single time. Is this really correct? How can any rule be applied 100% of the time? I don’t believe this rule for a minute. As a former Vegas dealer and gambler, I have seen countless people follow this rule into oblivion.

The other night I tried Shizen for the first time. It’s a Japanese restaurant at the Rampart Casino. Being a Sushi lover, I try to go once weekly. At $100-$200 a dinner it can get pretty pricey. Ah, Sushi and Sapporo. Anyway, after enjoying a nice Sushi meal, I headed to the Craps table for a little action before heading out. The Rampart Casino is a smaller locals style casino in Las Vegas. It has a Mediterranean feel to it. There’s not too much in the way of action. The casino has a couple Craps tables, a handful of Blackjack tables and so forth.
